The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) has so far sent 300 tonnes of humanitarian aid to the hurricane-affected islands of Haiti, Cuba, Turks and Caicos, Jamaica and the Bahamas, doubling the amount sent by its Pan American Disaster Response Unit (PADRU).
